  Quite a bit darker than you'd expect for a rosé, the pink mixed with purple. Strawberry and cherry on the nose and palate, the strawberry being a bit on the sweet side. Very crisp acidity - a bit too crisp. Some underlying and unwanted flavors are here too, giving some bitterness on the tongue as the fruit fades away, and some mild astringency. Others do it much better at the same price (about AU$20) such as Domaine de la Mordorée, Fairbank, or Dominique Portet.
