An impressive example of Verdelho. Brilliant pale straw colour with waterlike hue. The nose is quite delicate, with notes of spice and tropical fruit emerging. The palate is lively with flavours of tropical fruit, pear and lemon evident. Clean acid finish. Pear, tropical fruit aftertaste. Cellar 1-2 years (2006-2007) Stelvin Alc/Vol: 13.0%

Australia vs. New Zealand (Farpointe Cellar): Clear yellow. A very fruity nose - peaches, apricots, and apples. A wonderful, rich mouth feel, with sour apples, and apricots. The acidity was nice, and the finish was medium long. Not the best viognier I;ve had, but not too bad.

Pale yellow. Faint nose of green apple and apricot. Soft and full palate. Tart, but very muted flavors. Moderate length. Clearly past its prime.

The nose is quite delicate, is long lasting on the palate. A very pleasent verdelho - easy to drink - nice Sunday afternoon tipple.
