  • This is still drinking remarkably well for being a decade old. It still has some bright red fruit on the medium-intensity nose. Dry, with medium body, acid, tannin, and alcohol, and flavors of red fruits and dried cranberries, with vegetal hints of cedar, smoke, coffee, leather, game, and forest floor. Probably will not get better — drink now.

  • Drank this on Valentines Day with my sweetheart. We both LOVED it. Better than the 92 rating. While quite feminine in appearance, this wine was packed with light red fruits, subtle tannins and a satisfying finish.

Had the pleasure of a personal tasting with winemaker Brad McElroy a few years ago at the winery. Quite a treat!
