Pale straw in color, this wine reveals gooseberry and green apple with hints of white flowers. The mouth feel is light bodied with pleasant acidity. The finish is short with defined citrus elements.
Purchase for $10US/glass at a local watering hole, this was not a typical NZ SB fruit bomb. But it just wasn't that interesting.

Screw cap. Highly fragrant nose of gooseberry, kiwi, asparagus and lime citrus in typical New Zealand style. On the palate, it is medium-bodied with piercing, juicy acidity to go along with ripe pear, asparagus, melon and citrus flavours. Good length on the tart finish. Serve well-chilled and drink over the next 2 years.

Very light straw core with watery rim. Pungent nose of asparagus. Herbal tones on the palate accompanied by lime and grapefruit with crisp, acidic finish.

Very easy drinking Marlborough SB. Classic red grapefruit, medium tannins, lite finish. can't beat it for $10! Paired perfectly with Tilapia.
