Mostly the same as last time, but not quite as good, with fruit moving from jammy to a little flabby. I think its beginning to arrive on the backside of the curve. Drink up!

Rusty, not inky, red. Cedar, vanilla spice, and a whiff of boysenberry on the nose. Light to medium bodied, blackberries, pepper, grainy tannins, some heat, tobacco, leather, and a medium plus black cherry finish. Still doesn't seem ready for prime time, but the finish is nice.

Similar to last time, but better. Jammy dark red fruit, lots of spice, rustic tannins, and a dry, sweet finish. Probably drinking at its peak now.

Same notes as before, bit more integration in the wine.
