  • Medium red with edges with a slight orange hue. Transparent, clean, nothing floating in the wine and no residu/depot in the bottle.
Fruity aroma, berries and cherry, a hint of vanilla and someone mentioned chocolate. Aroma not as intense as in a good Rhone wine but present and pleasant.
Explosion of fruit in the mouth (I drunk the wine at about 15-16 degrees Celsius and i think that is the best temperature for this wine), smooth, warm, full. Tannins are almost absent and acidity is low. Aftertaste is pretty strong and lasts for over 10 seconds.
I often find Swiss wines disappointing certainly when one considers the price to be paid. This wine is different and can in my opinion compete with Merlot based Bordeaux type of wines and come out amongst the best. The wine is perfectly ready to drink.
