  • Coming from Hawke's Bay, with a cool Pacific wind influence on the gravely Gimblett soil, on vines on a hill slope. Founded in the mid 90s. Has a rather full-bodied expression, albeit with more wet stone and reductive notes, as compared to the Seresin tasted before. The Chardonnay clones used are UCD B95, big and rich, but also 15 which has a leaner, tighter expression. I like a certain precision, albeit a touch warm on the finish.
