  Opulent, complex and richly rewarding, this wine strikes a fabulous balance between the region's customary Castelão, Trincadeira, Touriga Nacional and Aragonês grapes placing the Castelão varietal center-stage to great success. For a wine closing in on 5€ theres much to praise: From the delicious but complex burst of raspberry and red currant and blue flowers to the more earthier oak, game and smoke notes to the agreeable palate, this wine is nothing short of stupendous.
