In a lovely place. Plenty of struck match along with mildly exotic fruit notes. There's a dollop of butter and some candied peel too. It is rich and sappy, cut by a fine line of grapefruit acidity and finishing with loads of chalky dry extract.

It was probably too young to open, but there is so much here for a ‘village’ Meursault. It’s still pretty tightly wound, but there is great fruit purity, density and nervy tension running through it. The oak is not quite integrated yet, but this was not too distracting. We simply loved it and I would not hesitate to get this again for the $55 that I paid on @WineDeals. Can see why Pierre Boisson is friends with Raphael Coche … there's a similarity in the style of wine.

Smells of almond butter citrus and honeysuckle. In the mouth its party upfront, strictly business down back (kind of like a reverse mullet). It is very minerally and very good.
