Still tasting great !! Much better than I remember from my last tasting note of over eight years ago when this wine was young !! Nearly saturated cork after almost a decade in the bottle, easily removed. Consumed over two days. Deep ruby color with little to no oxidation, clarity was very good. Aromas of pomegranate and cranberry. Flavors of black cherry, raspberry compote, rhubarb, and black tea with a hint of baking spice. This Pinot Noir has a medium finish. A balanced and flavorful Pinot Noir from the Santa Rita Hills appellation of Santa Barbara County. The acidity of this wine made it age worthy and it still has more life left. Unfortunately, this was my last bottle of this vintage in my cellar.

Recent auction purchase. Pleasant, simple Pinot on the pop 'n pour. On the robust side style-wise, but the depth was not there and it had almost a thin mouthfeel. Some oak char as well - more than I care for. On the second evening, this filled out a bit and became more enjoyable, though still too much oak for my palate. If scoring (86 - 88).

Not bad but not a crowd pleasing kind of wine.
Some nice cinnamon and cherry flavor but lots of tannins and a touch stemmy and green.

Wine has aged nicely. Nice smooth berry flavor. Light in color. Very easy drinking.

A decent middle of the road PN with black cherry and cinnamon spice flavors.
