  • I hate to do so, but I gotta be sour grapes about this wine. There isn't any "there", there because almost all the good stuff was filtered out before bottling. What survives is a candied, listless, uninteresting red wine hard to distinguish as Pinot. About the only thing correct is the color, and possibly the tannins. There isn't anything wrong, and I am trying to give it a chance, but we need something to describe.

  • Cooked cherries, brown sugar and tobacco on the nose. (It hits you more when you first open the bottle, then also at the very bottom of the glass.) Very light bodied, with very little tannins. Cooked cherries and brownies on the palette. Pretty good at this $10.00 price range. At least there are no negative notes!
