Another great buy at $15 from the LB marathon. Quite dense Paso red blend of nearly half Petit Verdot. Some fleeting floral notes, around a core of blackberry pie and some sweet cedar notes. Big, but not clunky. Very enjoyable on its own or with food.

what a nice surprise, a petit verdot based blend. I am not too familiar with the characteristics of petit verdot, so too me this was a very good full bodied floral and herby red with enough fruit that made it good on its own. Palate is smooth and steady all to way to a nice med-length finish. On a blind test I would have put this as a $25-30 bottle, very nice QPR.
