Cork broke in half upon removal. Crust at shoulder. A light ruby colour, with some garnet at fringe. Doesn't show its age, for what it is. Nose: straw mat and modest red berry. No wood noted. Grassy. Palate: Barely medium bodied, thanks to the alcohol. Commercial, confected mouth. Red cherry imitation. High alcohol. Although it is amazing that it has survived so well, the whole thing seems artificial. Very poor.
