Generally I hate the term 'lush', but I really can't think of anything more accurate for this wine. This was a downright treat, drinking perfectly and still so precise. Lots of tropical and stone fruit here but what really did it for me was the citrus.
This wine took me right back to when I played football as a kid. There's an orange flesh & peel note in here that tastes exactly like half-time oranges. You're thirsty, you've run your legs off and you need a breather. Suddenly Jack's mum pulls out a tupperware brimming with the sweetest, juiciest orange segments you've ever tasted in your life... good times.

Beautiful golden yellow color. Citrus botrytis with peach, apricot and sweet apple aromas and flavors. Great structure, lemony acidity and beautiful minerality with a long, finish. This is simply a fabulous Pinot Gris and highly addictive and another example of the long cellaring capabilities of Alsace wines.

Perfect balance between acidity and nectar. Yellow, pineapple.
