New Arrival Burgundy (Mostly 2012's) (Beltramo's, Menlo Park): Light red, pale edge. Forward, ripe red fruit, some wood and beautiful rose florality. Middle weight. Deceptively easy entry but then the blacker fruit leads into a stricter, quite tannic finish which reminds you that this is Pommard. That said, pretty refined with only appropriate youthful bite but no roughness. I liked this.
