P&p; needs 30 minutes of air from the first pour to start coming together. Smells like fresh red fruit and flowers, pungent black pepper, mint, tea, tobacco, earth, and a savory combination of beef and mushroom. Light, juicy, tart, highly drinkable, delicious. Nice earth/clay/gravel toward the finish. Not quite as savory/interesting as the 2012 at this stage, but not far off. Thoroughly enjoyable, and a steal at the $12 paid.

Stemmy, green nose. In the mouth capsicum, austere. Still decent though, after a while in the glass some of the greenness seems to dissipate, revealing flavours of red berry fruit.

Leafy green cab franc goodness....light and lively and gulpable. Enjoy!
