Clear light edges with some browning. Lovely nose of cherry, brown sugar, spice and warm earth. I thought Oregon. Dry cherry and berry flavours and a really nice slightly rich finish.

Light-med red color, rather cloudy, with decent ripe fruit that came across to some of us as Californian (this was a blind tasting). Didn't hang on well in the glass.

Matured it is. Forest floor and autumn leaves. Fruit still there but holding to it’s last breathe of life. Drink. *3rd night Autumn leaves is dominant. *4th night the fruit is coming out. Drinking nice. Spice and cola on the nose. *7th or 8th night wine really comes together.
91+ Points. Served around 60-65 degrees Fahrenheit.
On the nose, bright red berry fruit and pepper spice. On the palate, crunchy red fruits reminiscent of red currants followed by rhubarb, dried green herbs and pepper spices. Over time the wine gained some greater depth and took on some darker cherry elements. There's vibrant acidity here and firmness on the palate. Overall a fine Burgundy that's still quite fresh and youthful on the palate.

Hard moldy cork. Mid-neck fill. PnP. Lovely nose of dried red cherry, damp leaves, iodine, raspberry, light spices and other subtleties. Plenty of red fruit left on the medium-bodied palate complimented by mushrooms, spices, and a bit of irony minerality. At peak now but the fruit started dying and giving way to a more rusty element after 3 hrs. Very nice bottle that went well with mushroom based foods.
