  Decanted for 2 hours. Bright ruby red, the nose is intense showing some early development, showing cherry, herbal characters and a note of cinnamon/cardamon. The palate is dry, but not drying, although it has a certain stylish austerity to it, with good acidity and medium-plus body, and a low level of soft tannins, coupled with highish alcohol. The flavour is intense showing fresh cherry and herbal an liquorice notes. Long finish with budding complexity. This wine is still young and will benefit from a few more years in bottle. Excellent quality.
