  Not really my kind of Chardonnay, although I do like the melon and ripe grapefruit characteristics that developed in the wine's third day. The nose is not particularly precise, and is a little bit too fruit forward for me.
  
  The acid/mineral balance is pretty good, but the fruit and oak just isn't that interesting. Certainly well above much of the bog-standard Chardonnay sold in Australia, but not to my liking.
