Splash decant. Tons of black cherry on the nose. Well integrated tannins. Smooth finish. This wine was a lot better than I thought it was going to be. It is drinking well now and has some life ahead of it. The drinking window suggests that this wine is over the hill but that is just plain incorrect. 2016.

Forgot we had this and worried it would be too late - no reason for concern. Deep ruby color, currants, blackberry, leather, meat. Decanted and enjoyed over the next 2 hours.

50% Tempranillo, 50% Sanviovese blend from Spanish producer Munoz and Italian producer Diavole. Unique to say the least.
Dark garnet color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Nose of dark chocolate, plums, currants, smoke and melted black licorice. Flavors of black berries and minerals. Medium acidity, tannins and body. Drink now?

Possibly even more primary than a previous bottle. This tasted 2.2 years old, not 22! Hold?!

More Rioja than Tuscany but very good. This still seems primary to me with lots of dark fruit and oak. An interesting and delicious combo.
