Rasberry with a touch of strawberry on the nose follow through on the concentrated palate where this concentrated zin adds a hint of coriander spice. They advised me at the winery to drink their zins within 8 years, but this is still going strong.

Prune and strawberry on the nose. On the palate, black cherry, blackberry, red berries, and notes of sour plum and bramble on the medium finish, with strong acidity and a little alcoholic heat. Despite the obviously high concentration, this is less interesting than other Turley bottlings, and it's a below-average value at almost $60.

Smokey cherries and gravel to the nose with more spicy nose than taste. Still a bit of a fruit bomb. Needs an hour decant at minimum. Blackberries, dark cherries, currant and over ripe strawberries on the palate with some spicy leather on the back end. Boozetastic at 15.9ABV will probably keep this for another year or so but likely to drop the tannins like a hot box of rocks. Held up well to a nice pasta with mild garlic. Very enjoyable now

Spicy, zinberry nose, bit of oxidized fruit, pepper and fairly prominent tannins. I’d drink to avoid those tannins overwhelming the fruit

This wine was on the lighter side of what I expect from Turley; good structure but mild depth; it seemed more cinsault-like than zinfandel.
