This bottle was awesome. I liked a prior bottle of this but even so, in the past I've struggled to "get" PYCM wines, finding them to speak more of winemaking than terroir. With this bottle that just didn't even matter. It was just so good I think I can still taste it and I drank it last night. If you told me blind this was a good producer's Chassagne 1er I'd have totally believed it. Really a big wine for the vintage, but with a core of slick citrus acidity that perfectly balanced toasty oak and good fruit density. Just killer.

Fantastic stuff. So very lemony and minerally on nights 1, 2 and 3. Night 4 this really blossomed with harmonized lemon, citrus and a mountain stream. Delicious and will cellar remaining bottles for a while.

Really impressed by this offering from PYCM. It does have a bit of oak influence on the front end of the wine, but its never too intrusive as the acid and mineral arrive very quickly to keep whats there in check. Shows a great balance between the pulling forces which makes for a really nice wine. Would buy more if it were only available....

Awesome again. Bit of reduction on P&P but tolerable with the balancing fruit, acidity. Quality wine.
