Drying a bit., While you feel the producer and the hints of greatness, this is just a little bit to thin to be really great. It has structure and local feel, but lacks generousity. #Hjortevangen

A good bottle of CdP (89-90). Nice violet colour, nose of dark berries and spices. Hints of raspberry, cherry, plum and blueberry. A bold wine, leaving an aftertaste of vanilla, cigar box and tobacco. Some spices, pepper and oak, I think it will develop over the next couple of years. Medium tannins and acidity. The length is somewhat short to medium, but should improve.

Rich. Acidic front, cherry back. Not an appealing aroma. Needed to sit for 2 hours. Opened up, but not where it needs to be. Wish I kept in the bottle another year...

Superelegant let dejlig vin. Superb Chateauneuf du Pape med sødmefulde aromaer af moden blomme, kirsebær og blodappelsin samt et diskret strejf af nellike og allehånde

10/14/2017 SPC Class WK6: France // Loire, Alsace, Cotes du Rhone: medium brick color, moderate aroma intensity with notes of chocolate, raisin and peppercorn. Dry, medium bodied, lively acidity and moderately strong but soft tannins. Flavors of pepper, dark red fruit. Long finish.
