An unusually heavy wine. Has California tropicality and (excess) alcohol but an aged French semillon-kind of flavor. Without the latter I wouldn't be able to drink it, but as such--especially on the second day where it seems to be brighter and more open, it's interesting .

Melon, fig, skunk and grass, probably time to drink up. Needed a bit more citrus to balance all those dark components (fig, skunk, melon).

Better than other bottles - less heat from alcohol, more tropical fruit. Still feels a bit unbalanced but more enjoyable than in the past.
