Interesting, quite expressive for its category, but light on the palate, almost elusive, heavily dominated by a stemmy, somewhat stuffy biflavour. Mouthfeel quite thick, almost milky. Nevertheless lots of acidity and minerality, bit of pepper and heat, impressive length. A bit puzzling.

A great St Aubin village wine, showing so much green apple and lemon, all bolstered with impressive brightness. Best to enjoy within the next year or two.

Charming combination of lemon and pear on nose and palate with very good balance, and equally bright textures. Very good now, especially impressive for its level.

Bright and fresh on the nose with lemon curd, seashells, pear and subtle florals. It;s still youthfully coiled up, but with underlying great balance of it's mid plus sized frame, but maintaining a sense of lightness and poise with its great cut and tension. There is a toothsomeness almost to the texture, but it is a chiseled rather than chewy wine. There is no sense of heaviness, just chiseled soil and citrus and fresh orchard fruit driven wine with great balanced acidity, clarity, focus, and excellent length. Lovely, and I hope to keep my hands off the remaining bottles to gives them a chance to mature.

Orchard fruit with lemon traces. Very good weight for its level, with an intriguing sweet/ tart combination. An excellent Village level wine.
