Rustic dark red color. Spice, mushroom, and cherry cola nose. Medium to full bodied, cranberries, bright red cherries, dry woody tannins, good acid, sage, a touch of leather, and a nicely fruited medium to long finish. It got better and better over the 3 days it was open.

Needed 5 minutes to blow off some alcohol. After that it was deliciousness through and through. Herbaceous and fruity Cabernet. Red fruits plus currant plus plum. Evolved and continued to open up nicely over 2 hours.

Definitely agree that it needs some air time. Started on it less than 15 minutes after decanting (through Vinturi) and it was tight and harsh. Two hours later, it's mellowed considerably. Rich fruit, lush earthy nose, very enjoyable. Got one bottle left - will certainly remember to pop it at least an hour ahead of time!

On opening, sediment on the cork but very little present in the bottle. Nice dark color with some minor bricking on the edges. Nose was initially a bit closed but opened up quickly (no decant) with lots of dark fruit, dusty leather and tobacco. On the palatte, was very smooth, black cherry some stewed fruit, very rich with tannins showing a bit on the finish. Well integrated and balanced. A real pleasure to drink
