(Note from day 2) Tobacco, mint, and tight fruit on the nose. Simple and casual, yet happy expression of Nebbiolo. Licorice palate. Paired well with pizza. Good weeknight dinner wine.

Light-medium garnet, clear. Not much of a nose, limited to dusty blackberry, light strawberry, a touch of smoke. Tannins are really modest here and this is certainly an early drinker. A touch sappy on the palate with good acids, medium grip, but very modest length. A great, fair buy at less than $17, but more than that, it's an easy pass. Perfectly serviceable, early drinking Nebbiolo D'Alba. 13,5% abv. Not something I would purchase again (this bottle came from Carlino in Asti). I liked it for what it is, (simple but clean wine from a very challenging vintage). Thru 2018
On the restrained and smooth side for Nebbiolo. Showing light tannins, it drank more like a central Italian wine. Dustiness and a hint of smoke throughout. 89-90.

Red colour. Nose showing herbal notes of oregano. Youthful and acidic palate with red berries and a nice lengthy finish. Was decanted for a couple of hours that made it soften up and get more accessible already.

Nez assez discret. Corps moyen assez acide. Peu fruite tannins poudreux. Vinnassez sec un peu fumé. Assez bien.
