  The last time I looked at this was the 2009 when it was 3+ years old. This time around, the wine is again around 3-4 years old, and I can see why they are released a little later - I could see this being a little to austere and closed when young.
  
  The nose is an immediate hit of spices and florals - nutmeg and jasmine - but there is some nice balancing fruit underneath it all and that comes through in the palette, with ripe pears and white peaches.
  
  But pretty soon it all goes up a notch, with some powerful forward minerals and a great, banging acidity on the mid palette with the minerals coming back through again for the quite long finish.
  
  This wine really delivers for the price - I would recommend grabbing a few, as this will probably develop really well over the next 5+ years given how much mouth-filling activity this wine is showing.
