  • Clear lemon core out to a moderate white rim - developed. Clean nose of lemon curd, herbs and slightly over ripe canned pineapple of medium intensity. Dry with ripe pineapple, mineral, citrus and chalk - medium intensity. Medium plus acidity, medium body and medium plus alcohol - the alcohol is most noticeable just after you swallow. Medium length finish with the citrus and tropical fruit continuing. Fully mature and not going to get any better - but still tasty. Drink up!

  • Clear lemon core of medium intensity extending to a thin watery rim - youthful with some development showing. Clean nose of caramel and citrus (before swirling) followed by a dense nose of medium intensity showing lime, lanolin, mineral, wet stones, honey with beeswax and a light herbal note. Very complex and very interesting. Dry with medium body, medium plus acid, medium alcohol. Medium intense flavours of mineral, orchard fruit pit, and lime along with a creamy mouthfeel. This is really good! Finish is medium plus in length with mineral, citrus and a waxy honeyed coating. Drink now but boy am I glad I gave this some time!

  • Lovely mélange of lemon, lanolin, celery salt, not over-the-top grass & mineralty. This has an all too rare attainment of acidity that is in no danger of (nowadays all too common) characture. A very lingering coda of lemon marmalade that goes & goes like the Energizer Bunny. Last bottle of a fantastic vintage.

  • Light honey colour. Citrus beeswax nose. Lemon pear crisp finish with a whiff of marmalade.

  • BC (Canada) retrospective (Sharon & Guy's): Clear pale straw core of moderate intensity - Clean and fresh nose with some sulpher notes still present - with a bit of swirling some lime came through. Dry with nice mineral and citrus on the palate and a moderate length finish. Tasty and in it's prime (may last a couple more years).
