this has held up to the cellar quite well. i hadn't intended to sit it this long--it just slipped through the cracks. Big dark cherries and lots of spicy oak followed by some earthiness and a lightly tannic finish. It tastes a touch past its prime, but remarkably good given its age. A nice treat.

Overall very well developed, smooth and silky, goes great with high acid food pairing like homemade spaghetti sauce

($10) Ripe, but a bit murky. Medium bodied, with a touch of spice. Stewed raspberry fruit. Not as spicy as previous vintages.
