  I was not expecting much from this bottle based on the vintage and age. I was pleasantly surprised. It is a little hot and somewhat past it's prime but still quite nice.
  
  The wine looks rosy colored. The legs are slow. There is moderate sediment in the bottle. It smells like prune, medicinal and black currant (cassis). It tastes like black currant (cassis), black pepper, cedar, light toast and blackberry. The body is medium/full. The wine has smooth texture. The wine finishes long. The wine has medium acidity.
