Notes of dust and cherries on the nose while soft and silt on the palate. The front doesn't reveal a ton but the mid palate opens up with soft cherry flavors balanced with a dose of minerality. Finish is paced and moderate in length with the same soft red fruit in the mid. Solid and flexible wine that can sit with both new and old world crowds and with food or without. QPR is fair to good at $22

Decanted for an hour. Cherry wood, cherry cola, vanilla bean and kirsch, with a swath of river rock. A long finish that echoes red fruit; the delineation is keen. Quite silky and medium in forms of body. Salient Pinot fruit. Drink now - 2019.
