This Dundee Hills wine, compared to the Anam Cara Mark from Chehalem mountains from last week, is much more powerful. Strawberry and tart cranberry fruit followed by chocolate, wet earth, and minerals. This is very good, but the nuances seem a little hidden beneath the structure. Maybe some more time would have been good for this wine, but unfortunately it was my only bottle. It says to open after 8-10 years on the bottle, so 9 years in seemed about right. The Anam Cara Mark VII was half the price and much more enjoyable.
