  lifted nose fully in character, medium bodied. light sediment. drinking very well now.

  Nose has oak, smoky, graphite, pencil shavings and cassis
  Palate is cigar box, dried blackberry, dried black cherry and leather.
  There's a smoky mocha character with a tobacco / cigar box finish.

  From one of my favorite wineries in Niagara, Trius Winery let us discover this amazing 2012 East Block Cabernet Sauvignon. 2012 was a great year in Niagara. Ripened at maximum, this Cab Sauv his an amazing show of force!
  Wonderfull deep ruby with a nice garnet rim, this aromatic wine perfumes the glass with ripe blackberry, dark plum, violet, black tea, coffee, oak lether and truffle; omg tell me when to stop!!
  Such aroma will make you impatient to taste this beauty’s juicy plum and blackberry, cigar box with velvety smoke and oak, and a finishing touch of vanilla.
  Complex and full bodied, the wine will pair well with red meat with peppercorn sauce.

  Aromas of tobacco, red fruit, light toasted notes. On the palate more tobacco and raspberries. Cigar box and cooking spices. Still some tannin structure, but it has substantially softened from it's purchase date. Long finish.
