Why Renegade? Well, because the VQA deemed this one not eligible for its "seal of approval" due to "typicity" - one of the most vile words in the VQA's lexicon. But why would you want a typical rosé when you could have one wild fermented in oak saigneed from Pinot Noir? The wine has a beautiful smoky-strawberry aroma with a drier then 'typical' palate, rich with a smoky-herbal-strawberry kick to the tongue.
