This bottle is drinking much better than my bottle in July when the oak dominated. This is balanced with a nice, lingering finish. Yes, the oak is still there but it melds seamlessly. A very good to start to the evening just drinking on its own.

The oak is now dominant, which is not necessarily bad if that is what you like. But as I've remarked with some other vintages, I think the Journeyman Chards are best enjoyed young if you want more fruit than oak.

Pale yellow color with notes of apple, ripe pineapple, and oak on the nose. Fills the mouth with vibrant fruit and acidity that folds together nicely with little sign of the oak. Nice balance and finish. Well crafted. Super enjoyable.

Just received these and couldn't help myself from opening one. Glad I did, but it will be hard to keep my hands off of the rest of them. Fragrant, full bodied, not too much oak (but it's there), and a nice acidity. This is just fantastic!
