Timo described this to me as "Cabernet for Pinot drinkers". 100% whole bunch. Went in skeptical but damn this was good. Has the density and blackcurrant/violets thing going on but there's this huge array of spices, pepper, green beans and aniseed. Palate is lightweight for cab but still has an ample mouthfeel, and not really much of a tannin structure which I like. Refreshing. Fun wine.

100% whole bunch cabernet, and it works a treat. So fresh and inviting. Bramble and red currants, pencil shavings and tart strawberry. A gentle whisp of tannin draws the palate along beautifully. Definitely a wine for early consumption (within 3-5 years at a guess) as the fresh vibrant fruit is the whole point. A wine that marches to its own beat, and is all the more appealing for its individuality.

Mid purple ruby. Almost more 'Mayer' than YV CS. Something wild and sweet. Red berry fruit, silky tannin, chalky minerality. Drinking easy now. (90 Good wine)

Another Killer Night with the Sydney Grapemates (Sydney, Australia): A really distinguished and (for me) unusual whole clustered Cabernet. Nose of perfumed, sweet raspberry & sous bois (I'd probably have called Grenache if served blind); surprisingly robust on the palate, with juicy red fruit & mouthpuckering tannins. I'd love to have another shot at this in a few years.

Vinosphere Tasting: Green beans, violet and plum. Has a very light fruit sweetness, medium bodied and quite nicely drinkable. The more I taste it, the more enjoyable it seems.
