Well made cabernet that is nothing special and nothing to balk at...A touch too much lumber for me. From Magnum: To me, this was ready and not worth holding. Drink

Tasted as a vertical with the 2011/2013 vintages. Cassis, blackberry, cigar box, ash. Medium-full body. Medium acidity. Medium-plus, dusty tannins. Medium-long finish. Might not be at peak yet and I’d guess it still has at least 6 years left in its drinking window.

Beautiful! Big floral bouquet on opening. Complex mix of black and blue fruits--currants, blackberry, plum--plus oak and cedar and light tobacco. Long balanced finish. Elegant--fruit forward but not a fruit bomb. This is a well structured wine drinking near peak, but probably benefiting from a little more time in the bottle.

Just a great for of cab for the money. It seriously competes with wines costing more than twice as much. Smoke, tar and dark fruit are present on the nose and stay true to form on the palate. I only wish I had more of the 2012 and look forward to trying the 2013 in a year or two.
