Decanted over cocktails. Big, intense Napa Cabernet with smooth, palate-filling red and black currants, medium tannins, and long finish. I was expecting more of a sense of place from Parker's 100-point score but this felt more like a blend of top-quality fruit. Crowd pleaser for sure.

This wine is a total beast. Huge, opulent, very ripe, very alcoholic. While still showing very young, there is fine precision on the tannins which, combined with the massive fruit concentration, makes this approachable out of the bottle as a result -- although slightly green on the finish. As my personal taste preference has been moving further away from these huge ripe napa wines, I am enjoying this less than I would have in the past. However, if you want to stain your teeth purple while simultaneously getting punched in the face by your Cabernet, this is very solid for what it is.

Congrats to my dad for putting in his last month of work! Excellent wine to celebrate!!!
Dark bluish purple. Rich and dark nose with black fruits, baking spices, blueberries and a bit of graphite. Full bodied and heavy tannins (7.5/10). Dark fruits on the palate with spices, tobacco and a bit of graphite. Long finish. Drink till 2040.

Decanted and poured immediately. Dark purple in color. Very distinctive, unique nose of charcoal, smoke, cinnamon, wood, blackberry, golden raisin, paste. Smells like a cabin in the mountains in winter, just before it snows. Palate features black fruit, oak, caramel, smoke, spice, glue. Full bodied with a long, warm finish. Evidence of tannins and feels like it has the potential to integrate further. Wonderful with upside.

Definitely a powerhouse. Tons of oak and wood.
Initially a touch austere.
After 2 hours it opened up a bit.
