  Cork intact. Decanted one hour. Stunningly good for a beaune primeur cru. Light to medium red in color. Lovely subtle floral nose with only a small bit of funk. The palate is absolutely delicious with astounding freshness at this age. Strawberries, raspberries, forest floor and herbs. Nice layers of flavor and complexity but the wine remains well integrated and focused. I didn’t expect this from 1976 where many have warned that the wines are drying out.
