Beautiful robust wine. Nice dark ruby red. Large tannins from the Petit Verdot - really needs a couple more years to mellow. Nice balance of tannins, oak, and acid. Large hit of fruit on palate. This wine screams for meat - find it a nice T-bone buddy. This is one of the cheaper wines at Foxen - get more is you have the opportunity.

Aroma: floral, earthy, woody with notes of dark berries. Palate: black and blue berries with distinct wood and loam notes. Minerals and juicy acidity. Moderate tannin. Surprisingly good for a Merlot / Petit Verdot blend.

Love this wine. Nice dark ruby red with well balanced fruit and tannins. Moderate to long finish. Keep buying this wine.
