It is certainly one of the very good Napa cabs for a wine from a wet vintage. Sure it may be a little shy or different with a shorter finish from a set of typical benchmarks for a "better/perfect" vintage due to weather/climate. My party has certainly enjoyed the experience and (not given) the context of the growing season. It is different, not necessarily lessor, for the appreciation for the less predicability of mother nature.
P.S. how do we recommend an improved or updated drinking window? IMHO, there is plenty of life left. Therefore the drinking window is very flawed and/or outdated from my palate.

I’ve really enjoyed this bottling despite the vintage. Powerful fruit still with awesome subtle green bell pepper pyrazines and very well balanced. To my palate the pyrazines add wonderful complexity and is a welcomed relief from the rather monotonous overly-perfected Napa cabs. I suggest there are a few good years ahead for this still, if stored properly.

I had low expectations due to disappointing reviews on CT and a subpar vintage but I really enjoyed this. I’m a lover of pyrazines and this wine had it in spades while maintaining a balance with all the other components. Took about 30 mins to open up.
