  • Served blind.

Pale neon green color with lots of small bubbles. Youthful, very expressive and almost candied nose with aromas of sweet pear, tutti frutti, lychee, some rosewater and a hint of raisin. The wine feels off-dry to medium-dry on the palate with moderately full body and moderately high acidity. There are flavors of lychee, ripe pear, some exotic fruits and a touch of tart green apple. The wine seems to get much sweeter as it warms in the glass. The finish is crisp, refreshing and lighter than the midpalate with medium-long flavors of ripe pear, even some pear jam, a little bit of floral complexity, a hint of grapey fruit and a touch of steely minerality.

A youthful and colorful ltitle white wine. It seems to be at its best when it is very cool, as it becomes noticeably sweeter and somewhat flabbier as it warms. Overall this is a pretty balanced and pretty much varietally true off-dry white wine that is very easy to approach and probably will be great with hot Asian dishes. Priced according to its quality at 9,98€.

  • Very pale lime green color. Very aromatic and expressive nose with aromas of tangerine-driven citrus fruits, perfumed floral notes of roses, some lychee and a sweet undertone of honey. The wine is quite full-bodied yet surprisingly crisp on the palate with sharp, racy acidity giving the wine nice freshness. The wine feels medium-dry and there are flavors of overripe apples, honey, fresh lychee, some tart grapey notes and a hint of tangerine. The finish is off-dry and very juicy with flavors of tart citrus fruits, sweet honey, ripe lychee, floral perfumey notes, a little bit of rosewater and a hint of sweeter tangerine.

A nice, simple and drinkable off-dry white with very varietally typical Gewürztraminer aromas. The wine feels very atypically high in acidity for a Gewürztraminer, so I suspect that there has been quite a bit of acid adjustment here. Nevertheless, the acidity doesn't stick out, as the residual sugar nicely smooths all the sharp edges away. A simple, easy and enjoyable little white for those who prefer their wines fresh but still a little sugary; also, I can imagine this will be a killer with a bit hot South Asian dishes. Priced according to its quality at 9,98€.
