We drank this following a dry Alsacian Riesling and were not overly impressed. Some friends tasted the same bottle on its own, though, and gave it much better reviews -- they mentioned it tasted a bit like a sweet Champagne or Cava without the bubbles.
Here are my thoughts: Pleasant, sweet, and not much else. Equivalent to a German Riesling Spatlese at the same price point, in my opinion. Some pleasant flavors of apple, vanilla, cream, and possibly some petrol, with enough sweetness to equal the fruit but not overwhelm it. Not cloyingly sweet, but sweet enough that I couldn't handle more than one glass. We've had quite a few sweet wines lately; this one ranks near the middle. Good stuff, but I probably won't buy again.

Color: very light, fizzy Nose: green apple, green grass, lemon Sweet with good balance of acidity. Apple and peach with a buttery vanilla midpalate and a toasty finish. Coats the mouth with floral notes. Certainly for those who like sweet. 87-88
