  • This wine has a clear, medium intensity, lemon color.

The nose is developing and shows a medium aroma intensity. Aromas of stone fruit, honey, beeswax, buttercup flower, baking spice and a stony minerality.

The wine is dry with a medium acidity and a medium(+) body. Pretty waxy/oily mouthfeel. The flavor intensity is medium(+) with flavors of yellow apple, green apple, stone fruit, lemons and stony minerality. The finish is medium and very dry.

This was a bit hard to pin-point but the nose and the waxy structure led me to Loire at least. The palate was far more lively than the nose which felt slightly tired. This is the first Muscadet with age I've ever tasted and I must say that I was positively surprised. Maybe this one should've been drunk a couple of years ago but I had no problem with finishing my glass.
