  Décevant. Quand je l'ai débouché, senteurs empyreumatiques... Je ne les apprécie forcément alors j'ai eu un peu peur. Au goût, un boisé brûlé écrasant, qui s'estompe au bout de 10 minutes pour devenir plus fondu. Vin dont les tannins sont fins mais pas sensuels. Bizarrement, malgré cette finesse de texture, l'omisprésence du fût de chêne écrase beaucoup trop ce vin. Fait vraiment penser à un pinot noir bourguignon par la finesse de la texture et les fruits rouges. Dommage que les oenologues aient vraiment eu la main lourde sur le chêne. Aucun fruit noir. Note poivrée à la fin. Un peu trop alcoolisé encore. Rude.

  If price were taken into consideration, then this bottle would be rated in the high 80's or excellent. After decanting 2 hours, this showed blackberry, dark plum, briar, white pepper, tobacco, and mocha. An excellent choice for an everyday drinking wine or to bring to dinner with those who like wine but don't love wine. We will be buying a few more bottles.
