I think this one is on the down hill. Balance is nice, tannins are well integrated, but the flavor profile is a bit off. Plus there are tons of sediment. Decanted and ran through a strainer, but still cloudy. Needs some time to open up.

Delicious cabernet coming into its drinking window. Blackberry, vanilla, and a touch of menthol on the nose. This is well balanced with chewy tannins, medium high acidity, and a long finish.
Delightful now - will progress for at least another 5 - 10 years in the cellar.

(Gorman Winery The Albatross Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon Red Mountain) An aromatically intoxicating, glass staining wine full of dark cherries, floral notes, and spice. The palate is rich, voluptuous, and incredibly intense with dark fruit flavors, cherries, and chocolate and polished tannins. The word ‘rich’ is written three consecutive times in my original tasting notes. This is a stunning wine, and one of the best Cabernet Sauvignons I have had from Washington. 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Petit Verdot. Aged in 100% new French oak. 140 cases produced.

Stood for a few days before decanting- as others have remarked, there is a lot of sediment
Pristine cork. Settling into a comfortable middle age, still a bit of fiery tannin, lingering acidity and freh black fruit
Feels like longevity could be surprising

Great out of the bottle. Blackberry, vanilla, well balanced tannins. Required decanting, lost a bit of complexity through the tasting.

Very attractive, nice balance, but after an Old Vines FOG a bit of a disappointment
