You have to give them credit. For under $10 we get drinkable Pinot. It is not going to get any awards, but there is enough concentration and flavor for a thumbs up. The color is purple and almost opaque. The nose is sweet plum, black cherry, blueberry and wet leaves. The viscosity is very Pinot like. The mostly plum fruit across the palate has a youthful, soft impression. When you swish it around the mouth and swallow, you have to admit, "not bad". Don't get much oak. Some spice and earth help round out the fruity finish.
