PnP, very slight chill. Upon opening there were some very funky aromas that only somewhat resolved during the meal. The palate was also a bit funky, and disjointed, with only light notes of some red fruit, but heavy notes of earth and spice. No tannins to speak of, and a short and disjointed finish. Is 2018 beyond this wine's lifespan (see Brasca's TN of 3/10/18)?? Would not buy again -- bad QPR at $17.

Liked it. Nice combination of Italian fruit, spicy herbs, and parching dryness like the island it comes from. It is certainly unique and hard to compare to anything else, but one could easily imagine drinking this on the Sicilian coast, slightly chilled with virtually any food and feeling refreshed. Great value for an easy to drink dry Red that would accompany without overwhelming just about anything, or nothing.

Bright ruby red in color. Cherry nose with touch of spice late. Palate is sour cherry with some acidity mid palate through finish.

Light body. Poorly structured. Hardly a $20 bottle.
