Deep golden hue is misleading in maturity. This tastes fresh and young. Notes of lemon, honey and river rocks. On the palate it is layered and full but with bright acidity that keeps it in balance. Finishes crisp and long. What a lovely bottle!

Nose: Notes of paraffin wax dominated at first. Followed by floral and oil bouquet. Lovely Meursault character.
Color: Mature looking, rich golden hue.
Mid palate was rather hollow at first. Light weight and a bit diluted. After about 30 minutes things started to pick up as the wine grew in size in the glass. Buttery and very smooth mid palate after 1.5 hrs and starting to savour what's left. Friend agreed that the wine should not have been consumed so quickly! This wine continued to pick up stature past the 2 hr mark, creamy, some pecan nuts and oily texture on the palate. Medium finish.

Clear golden color. Slighty metallic and bitter on initial pour. Evolved into a smooth medium bodied wine with flavors of minerals, butter and hazelnuts. No discernible nose. Not big, not great, just a nice easy drinking wine with no noticeable flaws.

Luck ran out. This had started to oxidize. Drinkable, but not at its best. Not like the bottles I've had before. I wish you better luck!

Great body, bright acidity balancing the weight almost perfectly. Almonds, honey and minerals are evident. Long finish.
